Business software that does the heavy lifting. Sam answers the phone; every job stays in one place.
Samsby
The problem
Small trade businesses are run from a phone between jobs. Calls go unanswered on the tools, quotes are written at night and invoices are chased by memory.
The screens

How I approached it
- Built inside a working business, Yong's Carpentry in Perth, so every screen is tested against a real day before anyone else sees it.
- The owner stays in charge. Follow-ups are written and waiting, and nothing sends until the owner taps Send.
- One path for every job: enquiry, quote, scheduled, done, invoiced, paid, whether it started as a call, a text or a website form.
What I built
Sam, the AI receptionist
Answers the business number, takes the job, screens sales calls and texts back.
One inbox
Calls, texts, emails and website forms together. One tap turns an enquiry into a job.
Pipeline and jobs
Each job keeps its emails, texts, photos, notes and to-dos.
Quotes and invoices
GST, deposits, an online link and a PDF, with follow-ups queued in a daily brief.
Where it is now
Samsby runs Yong's Carpentry every day. The public site and waitlist are live at samsby.com.au while it opens to other small businesses.
