An honest training log for lifters. Log a set in seconds, then watch the graph climb.
LiftGauge
The problem
Most gym apps bury the one thing a lifter needs mid-set, what they did last time, under feeds, ads and streaks held to ransom. I wanted a logbook that is faster than a notes app and more honest than a fitness social network.
The screens

How I approached it
- Logging happens between sets with sweaty hands, so every input is a big target: quick rep buttons, a weight stepper, and last session's numbers one tap away.
- The home screen answers one question, what am I training today, with the next workout in the rotation and a body map of the last 30 days.
- Charts show total volume, top set and estimated one-rep max per exercise, so progress is something you can read rather than guess.
What I built
Plan
A template per workout, on fixed weekdays or taking turns in a rotation.
Log a session
Quick reps, a weight stepper, last session's numbers filled in, an optional rest timer.
Exercise library
More than 1,400 illustrated exercises stored on the phone so they show instantly.
Log book and stats
Every session set by set, editable, plus a year of training on one chart.
Where it is now
LiftGauge is live, free, without ads, and in daily use. It installs to the home screen on iOS and Android and saves on reconnect when the gym has no signal.
